When i overclcock the slitest bit on my DFI lanparty pro875b motherboard and a 3.0E processor i cant hear anything. I am not sure what happens and then i tried reistalling my sound drivers and that didnt work. For some reason it doesnt detect my sound device, when it normaly does. Please post if you can help me.

You need to reinstall the INF Files for your MB that will fix it, then reinstall your sound drivers.

You need to lock the PCI/AGP bus. If your BIOS menu is the same as on my 875Pro (non-B), then it's in the BIOS Genie menu. Set AGP/PCI/SATA to 'fixed' or '66/33/100'.

I'm not a intel expert, but it sounds like a PCI lock problem to me

If you have a option in the BIOS that sounds like PCI lock or PCI Mhz, set it to 66MHz.

Isnt having problems with sound also a sign of an unstable overclock?

Yes, but that unstable oc is caused by a faulty pci/agp lock.

PCI is 33MHz, but yeah sounds like the PCI bus is being overclocked (bad thing )
