I bought this board together with one i5 750 and one i7 870 and some ram, 2x2 G.Skill 1600C7 Ripjaws, 2x2 Corsair Dominator GT 2000C8.

First impression are that it´s a very nice looking board and it seems like it´s rather easy to OC both CPU and ram.

I started with the i5 750 and G.Skill, set the BCLK to 200, CPU ratio to 18 (3,6GHz) and ram to 1600 777 21, CPU voltage to 1,30 and DRAM voltage to 1,65, rest on auto

Exit and save, boot into Windows, did run some stability test like LinX and Prime 95 blend

Stable with 50 loop LinX and 10hrs of P95 blend (4 instances of 825mb), pretty good I most say.

In my opinion this is a pretty good starting point for those how wants a moderate overclocking of theirs i5 750.

Here´s some screenies

50 loops of LinX, max problem size and max memory use

10 hours of P95 blend, 4 instances of 825mb each for max memory use

99 loops of Crysis (~2,30 hrs), Assault Harbor, Crysis Benchmark Tool with 5870 in CrossFireX

Here´s some screenies of the bios setup.

I bought myself Maximus III Formula along with i5 750 a week ago so I decided to overclock the rig a bit but I'm pretty much a clock-noob! Can you help me to, let's say, reach 4GHz with CPU (with turbo boost off, cause I want to up the base clock on all 4 cores to 4GHz) and 1600MHz with memory, and preferably show it to the smallest detail? Btw, I'm using Thermalright True Black CPU cooler, not the stock version! Oh and I don't know if there is such a thing as "overclocking guide for starters" but I would appreciate if someone could point me to one!

Wow, that is sexy. I kind've like it, and I do own a Crosshair III Formula.

I dig the red/black theme a lot!
