Edit: Thanks I see you recommend F6x from another thread.

First of all, thanks so much Sin0822 for your excellent reviews. I will be using your overclock guide and your review of the P67A-UD7 persuaded me to buy it. I am all set with my system except for the 2600K which should come from Newegg on Tues.

I am wondering what the latest BIOS is for the P67A-UD7. I have seen F6x here
http://hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15952

And F6e here
http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/28441-gigabyte-latest-bios.html

On the tweaktown site the F6x is listed under previous BIOS but x comes after e so I am confused.

And I thought I read that with F6e they took out the PLL Overvoltage option. Is this true? Which BIOS would you recommend I use then.

Thanks again. Kent

Mine is coming in the mail, along with an I72600k.

So crucify the ego, before its far to late. to leave behind this place to negative and blind and cynical.
And you come to find that we are all one mind capable of that's imagined and all conceivable. MJK

I'm sititng on the fence with which MB & memory to go with. I just picked up my 2600k this morning, tough decision.

Thanks for the great review on this UD7, it's helping a lot!

Purchased and waiting.

Going to water cool my 2600K and GPUs. Do you foresee any problems fitting popular 1156 blocks on the UD7 socket? Blocks are obviously lower profile than heatsinks, and I've seen people mount Megahalems on the UD7, so I think I should be fine.

Also, it's a shame the 1x slot is blocked by that heatsink. They should have pushed it down and got rid of the last PCI, or changed that last PCI to PCIe 4x or 8x. (why are PCI still on enthusiast motherboards anyway?!)

I could take off the chipset heatsink and use a chipset block(s), but I doubt there's any chipset blocks out currently that would fit the UD7.

I'm just curious why this cost so much more than competitors P67 mobos (specifically ASUS & MSI).

Sin,

Could you please release the info you mentioned regarding OC numberers on the 2600k while the UD7 was still under NDA? I'm waiting to pull the trigger on the UD7, just need some performance numbers!

Thanks so much!
