I can not get my xtreme music soundblaster to work on this board at all. The board does not even recognize that something is in the pci slot. Is there something special I need to select in the bios for it?

Has anyone else tried using the pci2 slot and had problems?

Edit: I reinstalled the intel management driver and now its working all of the sudden. I also clicked on the intel auto update so I'm not sure what exactly fixed it.

Restarted my pc and now it isn't showing up again. I think this board is going back tomorrow. Too many problems.

Now its back again lol

Same here, I can't get my PCI cards to be detected on the Deluxe. What driver did you install?

I'm pretty sure you have to install that intel driver for the pci slots. I have the new bios + intel driver running now and it has been doing fine.

I am using 1053 bios. Should I upgrade to 1204? Which one are you running. I am running the card in PCI-E slot not PCI. PCI works fine with my old SB Xtreme.

I'm not sure about that. My x-fi is the old pci slot. I do have a blackmagic intensity pro card in the third pci-e slot though and it is working.

I am using the 1204 bios right now.

Which PCIe slot are you using? I have my X-Fi Titanium in the last x16 and haven't had any issues.

I fixed it. I had to change my setting in bios > Advanced > PCI to AUTO. I had it set to x4 which means the other two PCI-E get disabled. Let me know if it worked for you.
