For the past two years I've gamed from my Lay-Z-Boy recliner. My old computer wasn't up to the task of playing the latest games and more specifically Star Citizen, so it was time to upgrade. I started thinking $1500. Then I decided I could figure out a way to make three monitors work with my recliner and the system went up to $2500. Then I discovered the awesomeness that is watercooling and scratch cases and now the estimate is about $4000. Lucky for me, my wife has been supportive throughout the expansion of my plans.Hardware

As of today (12/17/2013), I've got all of the stuff above ordered and parts have been arriving at my doorstep on a regular basis and the last of them should be here by the end of this week.
I was all set to do a Corsair Air 540 build until I discovered scratch cases and then computers built into tables. I'm now on the way to building an end table "case" that will go beside my recliner and house the computer.
This is an overhead view of the layout I'm planning for the end table "case".
The two radiator compartments will be covered to seal each side in a shroud like manner and the whole table will be covered and sealed with a glass table top. The air will flow from one end through the computer compartment and then through the second radiator. I expect the second radiator won't be as effective as the first since the air will have been warmed up already, but I think I'll have enough cooling overall with two XT45 480 radiators, even if one isn't at maximum efficiency. The 12 fans should at least keep the air moving pretty well.
