Since you've gathered all the experts in one place, I thought this would be a good spot to ask a slightly related question:

I'm rinsing my rads and blocks with distilled water prior to my build, but the build is going a bit slower than expected. Is there any harm in doing the distilled water rinse too early (like 1-2 weeks before filling the loop?). Also, I'm seeing a little fogging on my cpu monoblock after just a distilled water rinse, is that anything to be worried about? It's a tab bit foggier than it was in this picture, picture is a coupel days old now.

The fogging is probably just residual moisture inside the coolant channels as long as it's not etching or staining of some kind on the inside.

I would rinse it well before filling it off it's been sitting for a while.

Understood, it will sit for about 1.5 weeks before I fill the loop I think.

The blocks are already attached, which makes them difficult to remove and wash. What would you recommend? Is the harm significant if I don't re-rinse them, or should I bite the bullet and re-apply the paste/whatnot.
