Just looked at one of these myself however my only concern is the use of aluminium inside the unit and not copper.

I had one for one year and it worked well. The vendor was nice and gave me two of them. In fact I may reinstall it down the road. I got an d5 next to replace it but its virtual flow rate is not working (known bug according to aquacomputer).

I a lot of people seem to misunderstand this, the only part of it that is aluminium is the face plate. The rest is all acetal (POM). There is no aluminium internally.
