Leaktest an AIO kit?

Hey, I just wanted to know if its ok to plug my Eisbaer pump into a 3-pin on the motherboard and just let the whole kit sit outside my case for like 24 hours so it pumps water around and I can see if it leaks.

I know the likelihood is extremely low but considering I have a 2080 Ti, I really don't want to risk anything. Will the pump get damaged if its not connected to its heatsource or something? Just wanna make sure I don't break the kit either, ofcourse.

The pump wouldn't get damaged without a heat source, the only thing that could hurt the pump is if you ran it without coolant, which you can't really do with an AIO anyways. Like you said, extremely low chance, but I don't think it would hurt to test.

Ok, I'll just connect the pumps 3-pin and leave it next to my case overnight with some tissue paper to see if its wet when I wake up, I guess. I'm obviously banking on it being completely safe but with a 2080 Ti in my case I'm not taking any chances even if its one in a million.

Hi,
Just a little
Never hurts but if you don't trust it now out of the box with no sign of leakage in the box not sure an aio or water cooling in general is a good idea for you
2080.. or not.
