Weird behave of D5 ..... any ideea?

I have very weird behave of D5 pump:

- power up the system, all ok, the pump it is at 4800 rpm with flow around 80L / h, and after 30 min arrive at 50 / 55L/h
- the system it is in pictures, i know i use a lot of 90/45 adapters, but ***, really choke the pump like this?
- i use one quadro with simple flow-meter from aq
- the rad = 2 xspc 360 / 50mm

It is pump defective?
The flow-meter defective ?
Or i do something wrong?

Thank you in advance

I have a lot 90's as well in my build. And 2x GTS 360's rads. I get around 200lph at 4800rpm, so something is off.
Does your pump sound strange?

Regular pump, molex for power and 3pins for monitoring.
Pump working normal, no strange sound, no buzzing no nothing, no weird vibration.

It is one old ek - lowarra mark on it - with red arrow on the position 5.
The pump it is connect direct on the molex from psu, and the blue wire with 3 pins fan connector go to fan 4 connector from Quadro AQ.
That 3 pins connector have only 1 wire on it
The pump go all time full - 4827 rpm - no matter i move the slider for fan 4 from Quadro.

Hi,
2 molex wires for power and 1 wire for rpm feedback to a fan port = 3 wire lol okay

Okay so we've established that this is a vario pump - not PWM. That takes funky BIOS/software out of the equation.

So you're saying that the flow drops from 80 to 50 L/h, but the pump RPM readout stays at 4800 RPM all the time?

I would suspect the flow meter. D5 pumps are pretty reliable, and if you aren't hearing any suspicious noises out of the pump, it's fine.

Yes, when power up the pc, the flow it is around 80L/h and slowly, in around half of hour go down around 50 - 56L/ h.
I think to flow-meter too, but it is a spinning propeller, nothing more, it is high-flow sensor from AQ, the only one who is compatible with quadro.
But still, the pump claim to work at 1500L / h, from that to 50L/h, it look like i have dirt inside loop
The rad are new, cpu / gpu wb was opened and clean.
No idea from where to start diagnose that situation

Hi,
I'd ditch the flow meter and just use a temp sensor instead a lot more useful.

Try to back the dial down just a tad from
Over turning I have a d5 watercool vario not installed anymore but it did not like to be turned to far past 5 or it would actually slow down
Tap it and it sped up figured it was a defect just not worth rma to Germany so it's on wall of shame now as unreliable.
