That was my next thought. Will hit up Home Depot or a Radiator store and see if I can find something. Kinda figured I was SOL as I tried multiple EK extenders with nothing working.
Anything I’ve tried never had a tight enough seal causing a leak.
Searched online but only answers I’ve seen have said contact EK, since that didn’t work out I figured I’d try here.
Plumber should be able to solder... something there to connect the g1/4" fitting too
I believe my ek 280p rads and a couple 240mm rads have brass couplers on them so the g1/4" fitting mounted to it and not directly to the rad it's self they were same g1/4" to rad and same on the coupler too so not sure what was up with that.
Wait...the piece that you have broken is threaded into the radiator end just like the compression fitting is? If so, then EK should have that piece available. I would unscrew the other insert and send that picture to EK for them to see the actual part.
If you consider 3 posts, two of which are older, to be defective, then I can't help you. The actual failure rate comparative to how many bottles we ship is incredibly low. And this is taking into account when people run Solid in aluminum loops or flush with harsh chemicals despite the product instructions. Even so, we still replace the coolant and give everyone benefit of the doubt.
