[Solved] Question regarding EKWB D5 PWM G2 pumps - Are my pumps legit EK parts or did I get ripped off

[Solved] This is a strange one but I'm a little worried that I may have been ripped off.

I've just purchased my first D5 pumps, previously I've either used DDCs or rebranded Danger Den style pumps. I bought them from (as far as I can tell) a reputable seller on Amazon's marketplace as they had many in stock and weren't asking insane amounts for international shipping. Well, they arrived yesterday and immediately I was a little surprised and worried that they might not be legit EK D5 pumps, purely because they arrived in small, plain white, cardboard boxes with no foam, no padding, nothing at all just the pump. This seems weird to me as it's a premium part and in the past when I've purchased parts from EK, including pumps, they arrived in really nice packaging, glossy boxes with EK's logo all over them, lots of closed-cell foam for protection, instructions, manual... etc, so this has me a little concerned they might be cheap knock-offs.

My question; as these are my first D5s I have no reference point, so I was wondering if people could tell or show me if there are any common distinctive identifying features with these pumps to help me stop if they're cheap imitations or the real thing that just in crappy boxes. Is there anything like common marks always left by the moulds that are used, engraved numbers... or do EK D5 pumps now come in plain unprotected boxes???

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

[Edit]
Image links didn't work so I've uploaded them instead.

Also, one thing I did forget to say; another reason I was concerned was the finish of the plastic (Acetal, Nylon) impeller, it just looks rough. On some old cheap pumps I've owned they looked better than this.
Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill and reading something into nothing as I've been burned before with some SSDs I bought that turned out to be cheap knock-offs from a so-called reputable store, I just want to be sure as I'm spending a lot of money on them when you include the tops and reservoirs.

I bought an EK D5 Vario pump from Performance PCs, plain white box no padding like yours.

A month ago I bought a D5 PWM straight form EK's webshop and the box was like you described - white box with just a silver sticker (number) at the bottom and a plain sticker on top (EK)...
It was just the motor and I bought it for use on a Heatkiller reservoir.

OK, thanks for that info, I definitely feel better hearing that at least some other people received their pumps the same way. As I said above, it's most likely just me making something out of nothing, I was just surprised is all, EK parts have always been super well packaged whenever I've bought something of theirs, that with it looking a little rough and being from Amazon marketplace... got me concerned so thought it would harm to check with a few others.

Appreciate it, thanks.

To tell you the truth, I thought the same thing about mine. Was it fake?

It's like a replacement part rather than a fully functional end product hence the simple packaging...

I've never seen a fake D5 pump. I would be surprised if they existed.

The impellers normally look rough like that. The D5 is originally an industrial design so they aren't made to look nice, just to work really well.

It's legit. And nothing to worry about for the impeller. Most aren't smooth. I think I've had one that was fairly smooth out of all the pumps I've seen and used.
