What pump do you have that uses aluminum? Usual suggests are the d5 variants and the ddc variants.
It's a Bykski "D5" with reservoir. In the Aliexpress description says copper but I'm really unsure so I bought another d5 pump/reservoir.
I've Googled around and there are more people with same doubts leading me to think is an aluminium alloy in the reservoir. Bykski website is not so helpful as well.
Just got an answer from the seller,
"sorry answer late
don't worry about the pump reservoir.
1.it's not make by aluminum, it's aluminum alloy, they are different.
2.the pump reservoir not mix with your copper radiator.you can use it."
Aluminium alloy still corrodes like regular aluminium, good that youve removed it.
Yeah sure thing. Can't really trust all Ali sellers. I've sent to him the link os bykski.us that says to DO NOT USE that pump with copper. He fully refunded me for the pump, but he ad stills wrong at AliExpress :/
Quick question guys. I'm about to move on and go with petg. However I was wondering if another 360mm radiator will benefit me in anything that will worth the "headache" of adding it to the loop.
I've looked around and did not find much information about the temperature of three rads compared with two, just a thing here and there saying to expect around only 2 or 3C less than with two rads.
Any experiences in this?
