Help with radiator cooling on an old tower.

So I’m very confused by the new self contained CPU coolers and such. Are these radiators like a car where if I mount them front I’m cooling everything? Or is better to make it an exhaust port?

It’s a gen 9 I9 build.

ideally, you want the coldest air coming into the rad, so most people front mount them.

Hi,
Radiators like cool air bottom line.
Mother board/ memory/ graphic card produce more heat than what will come through the radiator.

Single radiator isn't going to go very far on an i9 especially not skylake-x 99..x series.
