Oh Crap. Dude I didn't even realize. I already have an Aquero 6 XT. Its controlling fans in my Server Build. I may just either buy another or borrow that out of my server for a bit... Thanks!

Regarding my cooling. If you had to guess, what would you say is the limiter on my cooling setup? Assuming the Mount is good. Its an EK 360 Rad, its damn near Identical to the EK-Cool Stream with a DDC and Res built into it. And then the Block which I thought was just a dressed up EK Classic CPU Block, but I could be wrong on that assumption.

Edit: My Bad I just saw you edited your post to address that part. So you think it is most likely the block then (assuming the Block Contact itself is fine)

assuming the block is good, radiator space, of course... A second one may put that pump below optimal flow though, idk enough about what they used.

I'm just barely able to maintain 1.2GPM w. 4x 480s, cpu, 2x gpu, via MCP35x2... however, there are quite a few fittings I could remove to ease the pain, it's just not neccessary with DDCs. They like restriction.

- note this is in a Caselabs STH10, so I've got ~10Ft of tube which affects flow as well.

So jealous of that case! I so wish I would have gotten one while I had the chance...

Appreciate your input. Looks like I am going shopping today...

enjoy, and any time.

Yep, she's never going anywhere. I'm planning a true full dream machine rebuild for late 2021 ( depending on if we've gotten the top tier response to PS5 and XBS yet) which means full tear down, cleaning, etc, etc.

My job role has expanded a lot since I started, but I'll be doing my best to be back in the forums actively.

I'm trying to track all of these. Will be putting together a spreadsheet tomorrow. Please PM your support ticket number, Section31, so it's easy for me to find. Wish I could help handle support tickets, though I will say I lack the experience with figuring out causes and solutions as compared to the support team.

Things are improving. Unfortunately, it takes time to implement changes across an entire product portfolio. But that was exactly why I was brought on, to see all of the feedback and comments from everyone in the forums using the products day to day.

I seriously can't believe that. If this can be fixed with just a better pump then its no big deal, but if this is a Block design limitation...
Please PM me about this with your support ticket number. Was this for the Pheonix series, I'm guessing?

So just to follow up Ek is shipping me a new cold plate as well. But unless its flat I don't know how much it will help. Seems like a complete new cpu block is needed.

@EKJake
Just an update everyone, I received and installed my new cold plate. Things seemed promising at first, however I'm still getting the same issues. 95c Stock Prime95 test, and radiators are not getting warm at all. 0% fan speed and 100% fan speed does not affect temperatures.

Thats really discouraging. I just bought 2 280mm Rad's and a New D5 Pump and Res to add my loop, hoping to help drop down temps a bit. But if there is not any difference in temps no matter your fan speed, and the Rad isn't getting hot at all, well that suggests bad contact. It would really suck if we had to Lap both the Block and The IHS just to get good contact.

Some other users with EK blocks have reported that they have turned their block Orientation 90 Degrees and have experienced a significant drop in Temps by doing so, I guess the Theory behind this is the flow over the Cold plate is closer to the actual chiplets when you rotate the Block 90 Degrees, I am yet to try it myself, but there are a few respected members who have reported success with this, so its worth a shot.
