I would spend a few dollars and get a tried and true block and not some Chinese garbage.

I'd give a go no doubt. Running a full bykski cpu/gpu 3x360 loop for a while and just the pump is another brand.

You will probably pay 1/3 of the price for basically equal if-not-better performance, so there's no much to think from my point of view. If you have the money and don't feel confident go with mainstream expensive etc brands.

I replaced my ek supremacy Evo 115x block with
Barrow CPU Waterblock for Intel... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JR61X9Q...p_mob_ap_share
Temps remain on par with the ek counterpart.
I would purchase this block again without the rgb lighting though.

I don't like the rgb thing but I wanted some lighting in the cpu block so I applied isolation tape in it to make it less eye catching lol

I'm not the biggest fan of the way the lights look.. but I'm also still a ways off from a showroom quality build. I'm still but a Padawan in terms of modding and aesthetics lol.

Do you have a reference to the isolation tape you are using per chance?

Yeah, it looks cheap led, in fact, they are. In my case it's a amd block so they could have made the surface blurry so the light does not spread too much or I even thought in sanding it but I'm pretty much sure I'll end up with a strange effect and each light emitted by each led would look like weird.
I've thought to reverse the led strip next time I disassemble the block to clean but I think it will reflect too much and the result will not be good.
The tape I'm talking about is the black standard isolation tape that we use to isolate electric cables, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electr...tape_black.jpg

You can see in here what I did,

Spoiler!

so you have extensive use of that block then. can you detail why its garbage compared to other blocks?
