https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ek-wa...wc-99d-ek.html

my question is can this kit be upgraded? can i add water block for the card without issues? as in will this pump be sufficient? i also wanted to add 1 more rad (280) again - can i ?

Hi,
Yes you could add another rad if you want too D5 pump is good rad in kit is okay PE series.

You shouldn't settle on a ek kit though
Heatkiller is a hell of a lot better quality and price shouldn't be all that different.

Not much to a loop
D5 pump/ reservoir and a mount.
CPU block
6- straight barb fitting which you should use (3/8-5/8"= 10-15mm) not 10-13mm= 3/8-1/2" which is in the kit.
Radiator.

Hi,
I too have a alphacool reservoir base with a D5 vario pump in it
It's fine too you showed it in the other kit

If you remove the restrictive parts it's fine little tube for sprinkler effect and it also has a round item with holes in it remove those and it's fine.

Heatkiller is top of the line though you'll be happier with it nothing restrictive to remove
It does have other mounting options I just posted to the short stand there is also a mount to fan screws like the other one has if that is preferred

Fan wise be-quiet is highly recommended around here forgot that item

Before buying any kit from any vendor, I would strongly suggest to examine your case and determine the dimensions of the rads your case can fit. Just by looking at your picture, I notice you can only have a 240 (2 x 120) at the top, probably 30mm thick max and maybe a 360 (3 x 120) at the front. The thickness of the rad at the front is something you should measure and determine. You need 25mm for the fans and 30mm for the rad. Do you have that space? For the exact dimensions of any rad, I would go to vendors site and have a look. If you don't have that space, you may have to consider a small modification to your case, placing the rad out of the case or even a new case. And keep in mind that, just by looking at your picture, it may conflict with top radiator, if you want to use a second in the future. And of course, you have to decide where you will place the reservoir and if you have the space needed in your case. Measure and plan before you buy. I hope I helped you.

yeah already done - thanks in my second post i mentioned rad cant be more than 30mm because of the card. Carbide air will fit 280 top (which is what i have right now) and 360 front - reservoir needs to be in the back compartment but im just wondering whether i should go for the 5" bay reservoir instead...

Hi,
No they tend to leak
I'd stick to conventional tube reservoir heatkiller or alphacool both are well manufactured.
Get a taller one if in a different location
I selected the heatkiller basic because it would likely fit above the graphics card if not below it but you would need the fan mount not the short stand
The alphacool comes with both mounting options already you just use one or the other.
