I'm not a fan of this kind of a warning: "Keep in mind that the pre-defined safe maximum pressure defined on the gauge is for EK products only.
Now it's 2019, so granted, this may well be for legal issues alone, but they -do- use cheap(er) plastic, which does crack easier; i can correlate, but again, i have no facts. I guess if i used EK products exclusively, i wouldn't hesitate purschasing one.

* For the record, i steer clear of anything EK-made or sold. I don't trust them and with good, actual, empirical reason. On top of which, they're usually more expensive than the other brands. The wonders of the 'free market', where a subpar, more expensive product actually outsells most of its competition ^^
