Jesus Im impressed with the *new* FrozenCPU business

Im sure most of us remember all the drama that went down at frozencpu a few short years back. So since all that went down, ive been leary to order anything from them. Well, a few months back I needed a special part that performance-pcs didnt have, nor did microcenter, etc... but they did, so I figured if I got stiffed, id only be out 15$.. 2 days later it was in my mailbox WOOOW!!!... So come today, I needed a new tube res and performance-pcs was 30$ MORE then frozencpu was so i placed another order with frozencpu. it hasent even been 1hour later since my order and I got an email with tracking number already. Looks like FrozenCPU is back and damn im grateful for it! Thanks frozencpu!

makes sense they're super speed and lower price, considering PPC picked up all the business after that abusive drunken drug user nonsense.

Well that whole episode did spawn some more watercooling stores. We now have Titan Rigs (they have webstorefront now too), ModmyMods (great option with its shipping rates), PPCS and frozenCPU. This doesn't include the amazon store fronts for manufacturers.

i wonder if that'll apply to me. PPC is my go to due to shipping costs. They're instate, so the cheapest ground options are overnight delivery. Whereas FCPU was traditionally waaaaaaaaaaaay more expensive on shipping.

Well there's a coincidence I just ordered a CPU block from them. The tracking number email showed up 1 minute after the Paypal email, so that part must be automated. Now to see how long it actually takes to ship.

Good price on the block, $12 to ship it seems kind of high considering how small it is...

^^ exactly why I use my instate option. it was like $25 to overnight a 900D + full set of parts, etc.

jeesh, I haven't purchased new stuff in ages. The 2021 dream rig rebuild is gonna be epic.

also, they're still under the same ownership and management, so unless he's sobered up no one should give him a dollar, as he could implode again at any moment. Specially right now, during the holidays.

Buyer beware on that shop. I placed a $60 order for some fans not a month, maybe 2 ago, and they stole my money and never shipped me anything. Got an email confirmation on the order, but then nothing after that. No communication at all. Had to file a claim with the bank after my stuff from CHINA came in before the stuff from that shop.
