Not to go on forever but I need another rad. I was only testing the CPU and the temp remained at 70c. When I included the GPU test the CPU temps went up, right now it is at 78c. Doesn't seem to go past 80c though. All the heat seems to be coming from the GPU which is currently at 53c. I'm really impressed with the GPU block.

Oh, I guess in my time, open-loop meant something else.

Yours is a sealed loop.

Interesting waterblock, thanks!

In my day, "Open-loop" meant bong or Valenti.

^ That guy should have used a cooler for the res.

Bongs get the water 5-10C below ambient and can handle pretty much anything without much increase in water temp. Maybe 1-2c. At most -4 ambient if working correctly.

...I like completely 'overboard', so....eventually, after many years, you will wonder about...

You can say both (custom loop or open loop). But it isn't a sealed loop that is for sure.

"An open loop is something you have to create yourself from scratch. Out of the box comes a separate radiator, pump, waterblock(s), reservoir, fittings, tubing and coolant which you have to custom assemble after you have decided on what you want. They are also known as a “custom water cooling loop”."

I was also going to comment, open and closed refer to "open" to air and "closed" to air not the ability to take apart things, you can still take the hoses off of a AIO and service the fluid...
