So im having issues with temps this is my first custom loop and temps seem really high . I did have a alphacool eisbaer 420 and temps where lower I have since change to a custom loop.
Running 2700x with ek classic rgb water block
Alphacool 420 rad
Byski Ddc pump
10/13 ek tubing.
Order is res-pump-cpublock-rad-res
Running aida64 temps run at 82
I have re seated the block re applied thermal paste and done all screws up and tight as I can by hand is this normal temps for this block?
What are your temps? Which EK waterblock are you using? If its an older waterblock, my guess is the waterblock base doesn't cover the Ryzen layout very well.
Asus Prime Z370, Intel 8700k @5.0Ghz, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16GB @3400 CL14, Watercooling: x2 MCP355 pumps, x1 280 on front of case, x1 360 on top of case, x1 140 on back of case, x1 240 on bottom of case
Oh ok I'll go get a new coolant after work . To flush all the parts I just fill the loop with distilled water and run it till it's clean ?
Good way to start
But you'll need to disassemble the cpu block and probably gpu block and manually clean them out with a tooth brush and tooth paste
Then reassemble and use mayhems part one on the radiators and part two on everything.
