It was just a amazon review for the rockit kit. https://www.amazon.com/product-revie...pe=all_reviews

So I gave it a look on my mb. And my magnitude frame just BARELY clears the caps with the ihs on. The mag frame sits just on top of that inside row of caps. You can see it in the pic I shared. It’s pretty close already.

I mean it might work but man it’s pretty dam close already. If you wanna give it a shot after seeing that picture. Go for it.

FYI:

tried the plate 0.5P instead of 0.5C on my intel 115x platform

not significant gain nor worst in terms of temps, sadly i dont have a flow meter to compare them, but i think it is barely increased seeing it's flow design compared to 0.5C.

today i asked to EK support if they can provide me another 8 standoffs, i will work them with a lathe, to make them lower, and see if an increased pressure will provide even better temps to my delidded cpu.
The certain thing is that with standard standoffs, the block cannot touch the naked socket (without the cpu installed i mean) so we still have a little gap to work with.

Hi!

4 pin RGB is 12V, 3 pin D-RGB is 5V.

Hi

I found D-RGB / RGB adapters, but I'll wait until I have time to change the motherboard and have real D-RGB port

Thanks

Has anyone tested the Magnitude (2066) with a 10980XE (or other CL-X) ?
Is there a good contact between the IHS and the cold plate ?
