[Build log] Ghetto mora
Due to spending a lot more time at home I have realized how much water cooling stuff I have lying around and wanted a simple project. My main rig actually does great as it sits, but there's no such thing as overkill so why not add some cooling.
There are definitely parts of this that belong in the ghetto rigging shenanigans thread.
My first radiator is coming out of retirement. A ThermoChill pa120.2
The Magicool rad was in use recently and it's already clean and ready to go.
the 3rd rad is an old Swiftech that came in a lot of stuff I bought a long time ago...
I'll Blitz and rinse all of them to be safe.
I came across the Phobya rad stand in the ModMyMods clearance section which is what originally sparked the idea to to the whole thing. I added a Barrow bracket to the top to accommodate a 3rd rad.
Heakiller tube D5 pump/res combo was a spare that I had in storage. It was a 200mm like the one in my Darling build, but I swapped to the 100mm tube/struts because I was originally going to mount it on the side of Phobya stand. Ended up not finding any of the basic tube mounting kits in stock anywhere stateside so I used the stand mount that I had.
Fans are running off a Aquacomputer Poweradjust3 Ultra going into a Splitty9. There's a g1/4 temp probe to run the fans off liquid temp.

Didn't feel like fabricating nice feet for the stand so I grabbed a 1in x 12in x 3ft piece of pine from Lowes and just cut it down to size and hit it with a propane torch because I couldn't be bothered to paint or stain it.
The worst part of the whole build is the decoupling mount. I bolted the rubber decoupling screws to an old wire fan grill and then screwed that straight into the base with some washers. Hey if it looks stupid but it works, it ain't stupid.
The holes for the bulkhead fittings were just a bit too small. In order to stabilize my hole saw bit to drill them out a bit bigger I stuck a conveniently pretty perfect sized piece of firewood on the back side and secured it with drywall screws because I use those for everything.
I decided to move the Poweradjust to the other side and lower. I had a perfect length cable to still run the wire up the side, through a hole in the top and into the splitty.
That's where she's at for now. Need to finalize the actual radiator placement and tubing runs, clean the rads, and do a final assembly.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
