What is wrong with my EK Duraclear?

This EK Duraclear 10/16mm tube is brand new and now 1 week old. As soon as I filled my loop with the new tube and cycled the pump the tubes looked murky and have remained looking like this over the past 7-10 days. I'm using Mayhems XT1 Nuke and there is nothing wrong with the clarity of the fluid, it's clear as water. I have no idea what the problem is but I'm wondering if the tube in 10/16 which has a thick side wall loses transparency when water is in them? I drained the loop today and rinsed the loop with distilled water and the tubes still didn't look any better...

Yes I've heard. Any idea what the cause of this case would be though? The Mayhems coolant with EK Duraclear? Or is the Duraclear just known to have bad transparency?

My mate is having the same issue as you with his EK duraclear tubing. I moved on to hardtubing but I've heard good things about Mayhem tubing. Might want to try their tubing if you can get it.

That's interesting. What coolant are they using? Anything else similar to my setup? Yes I am actually looking at the Mayhems Ultra Clear tubing and they ship to my country. I should probably do that.

Thanks. Yeah I don't know what exactly is going on here but I wonder if manufacturing residues have mixed with the fluid or it's some sort of leeching. Basically it looks like dirty water in there.

I'm down in NZ and I can get some stuff from overseas and from Amazon. Shame to hear the Mayhems does the same thing. What causes the clouding in your experience?
