USPS Shipping Black Hole!

Poor FrozenCPU out of Rochester, NY has to deal with the local Rochester USPS shipping hub! I have had a package of compression fittings, tubing, and a fill bottle on vacation there since 5/15... I at least hope there is an open bar and some entertainment for them! Paid for Express 2-day shipping and it is still sitting there. Filed a claim with USPS, they say they are looking for it. Maybe it is really fun and they want to stay???

Orlando, FL is the USPOS...er...USPS hub I've had the most problems with. Hodgkins, IL is the UPS hub that seems to have the most problems for me.

USPS is the worst. Optimus sent me some replacement mounting hardware and then 2 days later a replacement pump. Pump has arrived the mounting hardware has not. The tracking for it finally updated today and instead of going Chicago->Denver it has gone Chicago->Austin->In transit.

It's likely due to the closure of Denver's USPS main hub, caused by a COVID-19 breakout at the facility:

https://www.9news.com/article/news/l...e-f37e69f6da0e

Supposedly, the hub is defying the order and staying open. But I currently have 3 packages coming via USPS for car parts and PC parts. All of them were moving right along until they were on their final leg to Denver's main hub. Now they are all just stuck as "in-transit". My guess is they all made it to the Denver hub but haven't been scanned in or sorted, either due to delays from low staff or a complete closure of the facility that hasn't been reported yet.

Sadly, I think you and I are in for a bit of a wait.

Pretty sure they are still operating. Got the pump the day after they supposedly got closed and my wife got a package yesterday from usps. Will see Tuesday if it updates.
