Mo-ra3 user

I have a mo-ra3 420 with 4x200 fan on and 3x360 rad inside my case. Pump is mcp35x2 directly from reservoir to mo-ra3 then back in the case. My water temp at idle is 27c, at load 700w, water temp is a 31c-33c. Ambient is 24c-25c. I tried to disconect the mo-ra3 and just use 3 internal rad and I see the temp stays the same. Is something wrong? I tried to run the fan on mo-ra3 at 100% and see 0.4c drop from outlet and inlet. At regular speed, temp stays the same.

Just diminishing returns... There's a point where adding more radiator doesn't help. What are you trying to achieve? sub 10c delta T is already great temps.

I just want to get load temp closer to ambient.

Why? At 31-33c liquid you are going to see pretty low GPU and CPU temps. If you want to go below that you will need to get exotic. Either a chiller or phase change

Are the pumps running at 100%? You could try adding another since each component decreases flow.

Because I saw 1 guy on reddit who has the same mora and he has 2c drop when water in and out the mora. Feel like my mora does not cool down the water. Does it has the inlet/outlet?

Fluxmaven is correct.

I also own a MO-RA3-420 pro with 9x140mm fans and haven't used it for quite awhile on my custom cooled builds because the internal rads do so well.

What cpu/gpu combo are you custom water cooling?

^ I'll third what Fluxmaven said, though it would be more helpful if we knew what sort of air you're pushing through the rad (flow rate, static pressure, etc.), cooling liquid flow rate through the rad, and a few other things like the cooling liquid in use (actual product name, dilution, etc.).

I'm guessing that might be a bit over your head at this point in time though, but please correct me if I'm mistaken.

Ref. Modeling the Heat Transfer Through a Radiator. While the equations might appear complex at first glance, they're likely still valid today.

[email protected], 2080ti 2190mhz/8200. Dual pump mcp35x2 straight from reservoir to mo-ra3 so flow rate should be good. Noctua nf a20 fan. I saw jay2cents has 1c delta with 4 480 rad so I added the mo-ra3 to my system.

You're already pretty close to ambient as is (27c, at load 700w, water temp is a 31c-33c. Ambient is 24c-25c.). If you want cooler regardless of what's been said on Reddit and/or what jay2cents said, lower your ambient temp, perhaps using an air conditioner. You could also try posing the question to jay2cents and see what sort of response you get.

In any event, you've already got a similar thread up and running on techpowerup's forum. I'm not sure you'll find different answers here, but it doesn't hurt to try

Good luck
