Any tips on how to clean my acrylic reservoir?

I took my loop apart recently and after removing the o-rings from my EK acrylic pump/res combo i'm left with an ugly brown ring. I'm not sure what, if any, chemicals I can use safely on acrylic so i've only tried soaking it in hot soapy water and scrubbing with a washing up sponge. It's proving to be incredibly stubborn and no amount of sponge action will get rid of it.

Any acrylic polish. https://www.amazon.com/Novus-7056-Pl...motive&sr=1-22

Also of note, anytime you take apart your loop, you would be wanting to use Mayhems Part 2. It would clean away any harmful residue left over from the polish, though there shouldn't be much anyway.

i guess that depends on the toothbrush...i have cleaned a few o-ring grooves with a standard soft bristled toothbrush...no scratches
