Thermal Pads & Paste

Hello everyone. I'm curious to how y'all feel about graphite thermal pads, like this. A buddy mentioned I may be better off using a thermal pad when it comes to replacing the thermal goop in my laptop. I've no experience with thermal pads. I don't know how well they perform when compared to paste, or whether they're better for laptops than paste.

What's the general opinion on this subject?

Go Gators!

Hey!
so I have used both and my results are:

Thermal Transfer - I have come to realize that paste has always worked better for my applications . Pads are not the worst thing in the world but I advise too stick too paste .

Also keep in mind that Microscopic groves etc are in the CPU , paste fills those better then a pad .

Theirs also a few videos online ( one from jayz2cents ) etc proving that the pads dont work aswell as paste .
