I've tried 3 different clients now with no success, and my drivers are up to date and everything

you can fold with a 6870 right?
if so which client am i supposed to use? (preferably one with a gui, it looks fascinating)

For an AMD 6xxx series card, use the v7 client. Follow the guide here.

You won't get as much PPD as Nvidia cards, but every little bit helps. Good luck thumb.gif
