will this power run the card at least for idle till i purchase a decent one and it's probably going to be

XFX Pro Series Black Edition 850W PSU 80 Plus Gold

or something better , i just purchased the card and i know my current PSU will no run it at full , but i need to confirm if it is going to be running on idle or minimum gaming not too much

Are u asking if the card will run on 100% load with this XFX PSU?

I'm sure it'll be ok @ stock clocks and voltage on the card. Also leave your cpu at stock until you can get the new psu.

my cpu is on stock with turbo boost disabled and 2 1TB HHD and 1 SSD

The power supply is not going to blow up, your system will just shut down if the load is too much. Just FYI incase.

Stock everything, you'll be ok to run the system as normal.

But what if he lowers the mhz of the GPU? Then it should consume less power...

what CPU do you have?
i think that the PSU would be just OK, the R9 290x uses about 270w on the 12V rail

38A on +12v rail. enough for a stock R9 290X OC. but avoid voltage overclocking on CPU and GPU
