Hi Everyone,

I recently bought a 295X2 and I'm unable to get a resolution beyond 1080P on my UHD monitor (Check the Rig details)

I know it's not a monitor or cable problem because my laptop (Lenovo Carbon X1) works just fine on the same monitor using the same HDMI Cable and even with the Mini DisplayPort Adapter.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Shady

So let me get this straight just no option for UHD in windows?

Have you tried another cable? It could be the adapter maybe?

I already tested the cables on my laptop, they're fine. No option in Windows or in Catalyst Control Center.. Even when I enable GPU Up-scaling I get a maximum resolution of 3200x1800

Check the screenshot below.. .

You tried creating an eyefinity display? Is you're screen doing mst?

And since ur laptop worked it has HDMI 2.0? The amd card does not. You would need a DP cord.

Tested how on ur laptop?

This. AMD 295x2 doesn't have HDMI 2.0 - you can't run 4K over HDMI with it. You need an ACTIVE DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapter, not a simple pass-through adapter.

Those adapters wont work with an AMD card.

You have to connect via the DVI display adapter.
