I've read this thread on how to mod the NCP81022 on my Sapphire RX 580 Nitro and I'm just a bit confused with all the information on different posts and things like that. Can you guys give me some pointers? Also I have 2 cards on CFX so when reading it I wasn't sure what do I have to do differently. Thanks

The stock i2c table is this: 01 03 0E 00 10 96 20 00 00 00 00 00 FF 00
first tried this: 01 03 12 00 10 96 20 00 00 00 00 00 E6 00 F8 00 FF 00 and it's not working,
then I tested: 01 03 12 00 10 96 40 00 00 00 00 00 E6 00 F8 00 FF 00 and now it works fine.

Could you help me explain how does it work? I'm kinda confused, I'm trying to add a positive voltage offset which is not what you were doing. I'm kinda new to this I2C control thing. Thanks.

Got XFX RX 480 and stuck with VOI too.
It doesn't work at all.
GPU1-B06-D20: ON NCP81022
Modified VOI Table:
Code:
32 00 03 01 01 03 16 00 10 96 40 00 00 00 00 00 D2 00 00 00 E6 00 EC 00 FF 00 01 07 0C 00 0E 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 07 0C 00 0E 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
Original VOI Table:
Code:
1C 00 03 01 01 07 0C 00 0E 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 07 0C 00 0E 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

The VOI and the 40 address is ok.

Maybe you will have to add some values to the asic int, and the set voltage table like here: https://www.overclock.net/forum/27735056-post883.html . Did the attached tables worked for your msi bios?

Maybe the attached files in the linked post could work for this xfx bios. But maybe I will have to see your xfx 480 bios first to be sure.

Guys, Im familiar with nvidia bios editing.

But on amd Im terrible.

Could anyone help me to lower the voltage on my card? It gets really hot under load and any mv lower will be great.

It's ok to dump the bios with gpuz?

What does this 950mv means?

According to msi ab my card uses a lot more mv than 950 under load.

BTW, also wattman shows 950mv for the last 4 states.

Edit. Applied -45mv with msi ab and worked fine

How can I apply a -40 or -50mv undervolt in bios?

Atttached stock bios for my card. f anyone could take a look, it will be great.

Thanks.
