Buildzoid just did the pcb breakdown for the 570 Pulse:

Don't know if the 580 Pulse also uses the exact same pcb.

You have to clean the drivers as usual with DDU, you know how to do it? increased the power limit means that you card "can" go higher but not that it will do it. Btw you can easly set the stock values back with PBE, download my bios and the original Shappire RX 580 Pulse and change the TDP, TDC and max powerlimit values

Yes but after having a modified bios don't i have to use this tool to install the newest drivers? "AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher" ?

And okay thanks! Can i change the values of TPD TDC and max powerlimit to the nitro ones? (480nitro)

Actually an 580 bios seems to skip the bios check, simply keep the patcher ready if the driver do not load after the reboot, but if they load and you can open WattMan without any problem you are good to go biggrin.gif

And yes as I said, change TPD TDC and max powerlimit as you want

Ok i just tried it, at first it got bugged saying i had a firepro and i had to reinstall the drivers then it was fine, Sadly while in idle it's stuck in 28,4w unless i load something intensive... The power comsumption is higher than with the 480 bios too, running slighty hotter.. using the same settings as in the 480 bios, not sure if it's worth keeping as it is :/

Hi @Vento041 here's my rx 580 bios modded for sapphire rx 480;is more stable and quiet bios,i've add hex mod on vddci to lock VDDCI voltage at 1100 mv,run perfect on my Sapphire rx 480 nitro+ oc with original Power Table values(TDP 110w TDC 124A Power limit 150w+50% slider).
The last mod that i don't have done is add +25mv offset same rx 480 nitro...can you help me and make this mod for me?after this mod the bios is the same of rx480(with 1100 VDDCI mod)if you want, share it!!!

What 580 bios you used as base biggrin.gif? Btw you could simply copy paste the VoltageObjectInfo Table from the original 1342 MHz nitro bios (will also improve compatibility). You will may need to mess with table lenght and offsets tho

Have you tried it Vento041? Yeah it's weird I used both clocks and voltages from my 480 profile in watt tool, fired a game and noticed right away the higher power consumption and temps

BTW do you also have the idle 28w ? Can this be fixed?
