You are welcome. biggrin.gif I have readed again what kahboom says, and I understand now that this table is the for the "voltage you would see in a tool utility" but I don't understand what this means. I don't understand as well what GPIO LUT means. Any ideas of what's this before testing it?

I have tested first 900mv for the three voltages

And I have problem to star firestrike, some artifacts and a few memory errors. But I have to test with a stock rom because I have a moded timings. I don't see VDDCI changing in HWinf but maybe what I see in Tonga like VDDCI isn't it, and maybe it's different in polaris.

Then I have tested 800mv for the three voltages

and it's booting but I get a black screen at windows login, so it's doing some thing. I know that the VDDCI boot voltage is in other part of the bios (I have to remember where), so that, I think It's booting, and maybe that boot VDDCI is related to de 39 03. Edited and to the dpm 0 memory clock, I didn't see it doh.gif

Edited: according to AtomDis the usBootUpVDDCIVoltage is = 0x0339 (825) it's at FirmwareInfo table, so the 39 03 seems to be related to boot VDDCI.

Edited: I have tested 950mv for the three voltages with the stock bios and with safe OCs and seem to be OK but I see some memory erros that I din't remenber to see before.

With 900mv I get a black screen when trying to start firestrike.

I will try with 925mv.

Edit: Tested 925mv first time I get a freeze entering into amd settings, but the second time Firestrike was working and I see less erros than before. I will test with less volts. I think I see less power consumption than with stock voltages but I have to test it.

Edited: Tested 906mv, it's ok, I see some memory error.

With the stock bios I don't see memory errors but power consumption is higher and it's power throttling and isn't with 950mv to 906mv tests. I see some Artifacts with the OC that I din't see before and I don'r remember seen it in older testings.

Here you can see some firestrike test and Hwinfo values for them:

Stock:

I will test with 900mv or less, and I will test the VDDCI values at powerplay to see if I see the same.

Edited: 825mv is green screen before boot.

837mv is perfect no artifacts, no memory errors, but I see less power consumption.

I don't know what to think, maybe it's cahnging only the monitored value but not the real value and chip power consumption calulation takes it into account, but maybe it's not a real value. And the errors and artifacts I see are caused by the OC.

I will test the VDDCI values at powerplay.

Edited: With 837mv to PowerPlay VDDCI I see more memory errors, and artifacts, and less power consumption

I have tesdted 1140/1500:

So this PowerPlay VDDCI looks like VDDCI.

So I don't know what is what I see at HWinfo like VDDCI.

But I know that:

- HWinfo VDDCI is VDDC less what I see at PowerPlay like usVddcOffset at SCLK Dependency table.

- HWinfo VDDC is named like VDDGFX in PowerPlay and the VOI.

- HWinfo VDDI is named like VDDC in VOI.

What's what polaris gpus with 81022 voltage controller are showing like VDDCI in Hwinfo?

@Vento041 : hexediting is quite hard for me tongue.gif never fully understood it. I can upload the Rx580 Sapphire bios and my bios. Though i don't want to OC (prolly a moderate OC will be tested and/or applied), just want a lower target temp, let's say 65-70C. And that's about it. GPU is used for everyday use and gaming (mostly gaming). Also, thanks in advance if you want to mod it, there's no hurry though.

Hello.

So, I tried this bios, and I got it to work by changing the VRAM table with the original bios.

But I have a problem. It works correctly if I leave everything else at stock settings but...

I customised the power states with PBE, but they don't work. I can't change clocks and voltages with Trixx or Wattool

and the voltage outuput is always 1150v or something like that, even though I edited the bios to have 1100mv for the last power state.

Why is this happening? Am I doing something wrong? I am using the 17.5.2 drivers.

Here it is. I took it from the OC Bios i dumped from my Sapphire card.

Anyway I don't think the problem is related to this. It works normally if I don't customise the Power States in PBE

It is the version with 1306mhz on the core.

Anyway, I just noticed the problem isn't related to your bios. Even if I modify this very bios, I'm bound to certain settings when I try to use Wattool or Wattman etc.

The voltage output is always 1150mv even if I put 1100mv for the last power state. The same happens for the VRAM, I always used 700mv for the first power state, but it keeps using the default 800mv setting.

This wasn't happening before. I suspect it's newer driver's fault

@daevy3k Just released 0.03 v1 and v2, which one do you like more? I suggest you v1 if you do not want to test stuff for me haahha
