Doesn't have to be GPU intensive, just having Chrome or Edge opened in the background and minimized also causes it. I'll check if FireFox also causes it if not I'll be using it. Can't even listen to Google Music anymore while playing.

I think turning off hardware acceleration fixes the issue. I don't have this problem on my v64 when i play games and use youtube looper. Don't have it using youtube as well.

I have hardware acceleration enabled because I play Hole.io.

I constantly have chrome open in the background and never run into this issue as described.

I DO use FRC in most all games, so I do see memory clocks drop to 800 when boost clocks are low due to the FRC.

Same because of a freesync monitor, I dont think ive ever had it get stuck at 167mhz while playing games, i do have my memory at 1100 but even at 945 where ive had it for the past year i dont think ive ever seen it get stuck at 167.

so received my VEGA 64 LC last month after some post on this thread here.really nice looking card even compared to my 1080Ti EVGA HYbrid

but performance wise, focusing on Undervolting, it seems performing slightly better than the 1080Hybrid I had but falls behind by a good 15% on FPS vs the 1080Ti

In synthetic benchmark like Firestrike, the VEGA manages to score around 25,200points but my Ti reaches easily 30,000points

Will do some more overclocking over the weekend but I was hoping for something closer to 27,000points, it might be now a bit unrealistic here.

I have managed to get my 3 1080p monitors to output at their max refersh rate of 75hZ(3 of them are freesync) and will test the Freesync feature in Games, which was one the main drivers to go back to try AMD

One thing I have noticed and its annoying, after setting EYEFINITY res at 5760x1080 over the 3 screens, I cant find a way to toggle to single screen unless I discard the Eyefinity set-up but then have to set it again

I thought I could make use of Windows key+P to toggle projection display 3 vs 1 screen quickly, like it does with NV Surround, but it doesn't work.
Anybody here knows a fix for that?
looking at the lack of traction, I guess its not possible to achieve this.I will switch off one of my monitors and keep only 2 ON when I am not gaming then

did some more UVolting/OCing runs over the week-end and its really nice to have the 3monitor Freesync feature working

I bumped into something bit weird thouh but maybe you guys here experienced something similar

Using synthetic benchmarks like Heaven or 3D mark, as well as Games like AC or Crysis 3,I have not problem to run my Ram OCed at 3066Mhz (Corsair Vengeance Hynix Die) in paralel to GPU testing

But in PCARS2 it does constantly crash whatever UV/OC I apply, even what i consider minor ones.

Any idea why? this Game was perfectly fine with my 1080Ti so I am puzzled at why is happening with the VEGA

thanks so much

So there are some quality deals on vega 56 right now at newegg. Mainly MSI ariboost for 260 after MIR. But i can't find a block under 150. Does anyone know where to get one? That's what's holding me back i'm not about to drop $175 on a block.

Someone was selling a Vega 64 with block for 400 in the marketplace.

Blocks are expensive unless you go used.

You can check eBay for a barrow or byksi block too.

Found a reference 56 with Samsung memory on ebay, for $250. Probably mined but meh opens up block compatibility. Bykski/Barrow GTG? If so i'm about to order a block for it.

Just pulled the trigger on the MSI Airboost this past weekend. I've enjoyed my R9 Nano and it's small size (wish the Vega 56 Nano would have been readily available at these prices but oh well), but I'm looking forward to joining the Vega club and doing some undervolting! Personally, I like the idea of a blower (despite general increase in noise). I miss HIS' custom blowers. Owned a HIS 5770 and 7950 and those blowers were great.
