But i can imagine what it means for younger people like my daughter .Horrible Times.

She hates when i have to go to work ...but i need to since we produce disinfectant these days.
And they call us Keyworkers...i hate such namings.

TBF, we don't need that kind of speed for Vega 64.
1630-1700 is more than enough.

1700+MHz is ~27.8k FS (on my setup).
Depends on monitor refresh tho, i have 71Hz so i don't need more.

I don't need more. I want more. Sigh.

And although I am seeing a corresponding increase in power consumption and heat from applying more voltage from soft PP mods I'm not seeing any scaling. I've pushed to 1300mv but I can't seem to get it to jump over the barrier that is around 1775Mhz

I'm currently at the following settings. I've got 1275mv set in PP table. Underload that is 1225mv. I'm applying 1780 and getting around 1755-1730mhz. HBM is 1190. I managed around 102fps in heaven 1080p extreme as a quick and dirty bench while doing stress tests. (up from 93.3. biggest gain was HBM going 945 to 1190 gave me 101fps)

Anything high than the 1730-1755MHz core clock regardless of voltage gives me driver crashes. Its using 350ish watts core power. The unlocked power limit is of no benifit as I can't HIT the stock limits. What am I missing.

Good evening,

I have a problem whit the Soft Power Table Mod and the Adrenalin 2020.

I have a Asus ROG Strix Vega 56 Gaming that come to default whit a max power comsuption of 260W. I try to increase the max power target to 50%, but everytime the GPU is near the 300W, the frequency of the core begin to downclock.
I read that Vega 56 are "locked" at 300W in BIOS, so i need to use the Soft Power Table Mod to increase that limit.

I modify the Windows Registry, but I found that after Adrenaline 2020, there is not the voice "PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable" but a new call "PP_PhmSoftWTTable"; so if I modify the registry, my change doesn't take effect.

Thank you for your help.

You have found the hardware limit of your GPU. Rising the voltage does't mean that you can achieve infinite clock upgrade.
Gamers Nexus give +242% Power Limit and sto at 1710 Mhz..if you are stable al 1730 Mhz, you are already very lucky!

I agree... mine was just over 1700 as well, but would hit it at only 1.1v... strange thing vega is.

@Alastair you likely will not be able to get anymore... I had problems with overclocking mine that occasionally it would overshoot my set clock and crash instantly... but up to that point it was fine... didn't matter how much voltage or what my power limit or even if it was fully loaded... much over 1700 and crash.
