Updated 2020/01/31 (Final)

This mod is not made to just rebrand your RX480 to a RX580 but it will accomplish that, the reason i made these BIOS's is because i wanted to tune my RX480 without having to worry about patching the driver every time it updates and because current mods cause issues like BSOD during driver installs/updates, features like "Fan Health Check" and "Nitro Glow" don't work, or other odd issues.

These are real RX 580 BIOS's that have bin heavily patched and extensively tested under multiple workloads to make sure there fully functional and safe for use on RX 480.

Disclaimer:
- I DO NOT ACCEPT BLAME IF BIOS RESULTS IN A DEAD GPU...
- I WILL NOT EXPLAIN HOW TO FLASH YOUR BIOS...
- I WILL NOT MAKE CUSTOM VERSIONS...
- I WILL NOT EXPLAIN HOW MODS ARE DONE (GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND)...

Warning:
- NEVER INSTALL A STOCK RX580 BIOS ON RX480 (VOLTAGE SPIKES CAN KILL VRM) !!!

Hey man, I just wanted to say thanks for making these BIOSs and I appreciate your hard work in making them work on 480's, and I'm surprised you haven't gotten much attention here...
Unfortunately, I'm not having success with them. My card is a Sapphire Nitro+ 480 4GB with Elpida memory, and I'm using the Crimson 17.11.1 driver.
I benchmarked a few games, and saw a slight performance increase, but when I went to go browse Facebook and YouTube, my browser started glitching out, becoming unresponsive for a few seconds before either continuing to work fine, or throwing a WebGL error and refreshing the page, or a couple times it would just BSOD saying VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. This was with the CustomMod BIOS. I then flashed over the StockMod to see if that would help anything but I still get the same issues.

UPDATE: After a bit more testing, I discovered those errors were related to hardware acceleration in Chrome. Once I turned that off, everything has been smooth and stable... For now.

Confirmed, BIOS does NOT play nice with Hardware Acceleration. Both Chrome and the Battle.net app crash with it enabled, which is the default setting. Another small oddity is I don't have the Power Saving Mode option in Radeon Settings, and sometimes after closing a game my clocks will be stuck at 1366 and not go down to idle. Tested on latest Crimson Adrenalin driver.

Little late to the party but the new versions fix all issues you had plus more.
