just saw the power tables with unlocked voltage clock and power thats amazing it means you can get the rx 5700 and get to work on the same clocks as the xt

igorslab is great ,one from the good guys like not an Apple fan or Moore law is dead!!

One thing that i dislike on navi ia the gddr6 from micron. Didn't NVIDIA also had problems with micron gddr6? cause igor told that ocing the ram isnt working right now...i hope AIB Partners take samsung gddr6 !!

Well my RX 5700 XT will be here tomorrow so I can start to contribute. Looking for to modding this reference with other coolers i have on hand. I understand that the someone put an RX 290 red devil cooler on it. With that in mind with with I know with my previous custom mods of a number of gpus...then is that since the 290 red devil is a bolt on solution, then 390, 480 and 580 coolers could also work, as I have moved one of custom solutions an CPU aio from my 290x to 390x to my rx 480 all just a bolt on solution. So I am going did out all my AIB and other solutions this weekend after I get the card and see what fits. Though I will not be able to actually test performance until I get more thermal paste/pads.

Hi, nice forum you have here. Registered to join the talk about the freshly baked navi cards in all their blowing glory...
The stuff from Igor makes me sorry I didn't pay closer attention in German class back in school! However google makes a splendid job of translating, example: "this does not end in extravagant stream orgies". Perfectly understandable!

Got the 5700 XT hooked up with a hybrid CLC and manages 2147 MHz at 51°C gpu temp with the 1,25V and +90% power mod. Draws about 250W in that state according to hwinfo. Got a nice little bump in Time Spy. There is one Dave-5767 over there who reported scores with 2244 MHz, pretty impressive.

Never done straight registry edits for GPUs before so it was surplisingly easy to implement the tweaks provided here. What do you guys think is the theoretical upper limit for extreme overclocking with these cards?

If you can set the same clocks with power mod for the non-xt is the difference between the cards in binning or something else, or is it plain vbios differentiation from the manufacturers side?

So AMD lied and the old registry power table hack is working?

The cards are different bins and VBIOS. Best cards are likely to go to server farms. 5700 is gonna be the bottom.

They said it shouldn't? At least for power limit and core voltage I can confirm it's does indeed work.

So overclock a 5700 and it can match stock XT but likely not oc XT

Yeah when GN asked about it.
Navi looks good in some aspects while not really in other. It's a shame. Decent gaming card for those that only game and do nothing else.
Any LN2 results by now? Is Buildzoid playing with these?

Also remains to be verified if these high reported clocks transfer to real performance gain or it's one of those old bugs we've seen before, high clocks but near no performance gain. So far it seems not bugged.

I don't know about Navi is going to server farms, probably Google stadia. EposVox showed Navi being able to handle 6x HEVC streams.

If RX 5700 isn't limited in clocks (core & memory) it should perform 90% of the RX 5700 XT
