Most commonly it seems people raise the max power limit, core, ram in MorePowerTool. While you won't get these maxes, Igor seems to show for the XT core 2300 ram 1000. Then the max power limit 50%, maybe higher idk. I'm not suggesting you apply these settings after setting the limit, but if you are just asking in general for something you can set to tinker around with. Then yeah. GamerNexus, HardwareUnboxed and Jays2cents youtube channels have used MorePowerTool on the XT. And Igorslab of course.

I set my non XT limits to power 75%, ram 1000, core 2100. I don't go anywhere near that in wattman though, usually 40-60% power, core boost 2025 or much lower depending, 900 to 970 ram. Benchmarks, gaming, stress testing.

This would be a good sticky or some kind of link to MPT for new people.

Would the values entered and saved in Powertool stick in between PC shutdown / power up ?
Asking this so I can configure my stable clocks to run in Afterburner with windows log on and be good to go.

Yes, until you install new drivers. You can do it either way. Just raise the max, the card will run at stock until you raise it with AB. Or on the frequency tab adjust it and it will run at whatever you pick when windows starts.

Who makes the GDDR6 memory for the reference 5700 XT or even board partners as it doesn't seem to clock as high as Nvidias GDDR6.

Is it due to who they source the GDDR6 modules from?

Samsung. I believe they are intentionally gimped / voltage starved to keep this card ever so slightly slower than the flagship VII.

Been playing around a lot lately to see what I can get.

I set under the Overdrive Limits tab.
2500 GFX Maximum Clock
950 Memory Maximum Clock
99 Power Limit Maximum

I set under the Power and Voltage tab.
1350 Maximum Voltage GFX
1350 Maximum Voltage SoC

500 Power Limit GPU

300 TDC Limit GFX
25 TDC Limit SoC

I set under the Frequency tab.
2500 GFX Maximum

2000 SoC Maximum

With these settings I reboot then go into Wattman.
I move the right frequency pole to 2251 and the voltage to 1397. I set the Power Limit to 75%. Memory I leave at 875. I can bump it to about 890 but at 900 it is unstable. And I have had some crashes in my games with it set higher then 875.

Wattman Peak reports I hit,
2201 MHz on the GPU.
Temperature usually around 42c
Junction Temperature around 95c
Power at 344w
I have the EK-Vector water block on a reference design MSI 5700XT.
