XFX r9 280x Heatmap / No heatsink ATM

Hello community, I think this is my very first post and I don't know if this is the right place to ask, please move it where you find it correct.

A friend of mine gifted me an broken XFX R9 280x with not cooler/disipator, I want to connect to the PC to see what it's the problem, but I dont wanna fry the thing.
I want to know where to put the other disipator that I have laying around. I'm sure about the GPU and the VRAM chips nearby, and the column of mosfet at the right, but no with the other parts, I leave an image for clarification.

My GPU: https://i.imgur.com/Huob4Y5.jpg
Other 280x for reference: https://i.imgur.com/z9Y9HFn.jpg

Thanks in advance, best regards.
