Oh? What have you overclocked, chump? 8800GTs?

Wat? You don't know what that is?

Umm..how about 4870s, dude? 'Sup?

Not to be a dick, or to be. I know a crapton more than you, chump.

Maybe you OC'd some Pentium 4s or something, amirite?

Netburst Powah?

You have valids, of course.

Observe the chips in my picture there, I OC'd all of them.

The Socket 5, the delidded Sandy Bridge, 775, Netburst, everything in between. It sounds like Greek to you I'm sure.
It is what it is.

Tell me again what Northwood is, dude. I await your definition. Since you seem to know so much..

Socket 1156...

Ever have Nvidia drivers installed on that drive?

Can you run R15 open GL test?

No flickering?

Mines the Nitro + 5700XT , which one are you running?

Appreciate any replies.
Yah, this OS used to have a GTX 1060. I did go to add & remove programs to get rid of nvidia drivers. But from amd to amd i just install over. I do not have DDU in any of my PCs.

Did run GL test and nothing unusual but only got almost half the score compared to my RX 570. I have zero flickering. I'm going over to my R5 3600 system with a 5700 and see what's up. I know it is still using 19 drivers. No reason to upgrate really. Just updated my XT to test.

BTW, that system with a RX 570 used to have a GTX 1050. That, too, i just used add & remove programs.

Thank you for the reply- always helpful in these forums

Weird that mine had problems on FX/win7 and Ryzen 1 win 10 platforms. IF it was hardware , all my futzing around shouldn't have made much of a difference but I've got it to where it's only flickering and occasionally locking up.

The previous card was an RTX on both of them - I wouldn't think that would matter but IDK.

- Just remembered, It also won't run Real Bench - can you run it on yours?

Set your system to optimized default, then run Realbench.

Yeah, I prefer the other side of the Linuxes.

Redhat, Fedora, CentOS. I'm sure you get it. I don't like tarballs.

You are welcome. Try to set your pc to optimized default and run the bench again. Could be an unstable setting in BIOS. You used the MPT stuff? I stay away from that.

About to update my 5700 to the latest driver.

EDIT: Last week I took out the 5700 and installed the 570 using the driver for the 5700. Got a lower score in GL. Score went up about 20 pts after installing driver for 570.
