Need help to modding my BIOS of AMD Radeon Vega RX 64

Hi!

I want modify my BIOS of the AMD Radeon Vega RX 64 to set the fan profile to low-noise
because I want to use the card on Qemu VM on Ubuntu with GPU-passtrough (VFIO-pci)

With unloaded/blacklisted "amdgpu" driver module on Ubuntu the card is very loud.

My idea is to edit the BIOS of that card and I hope this fixes the loud noise of the
gpu fan.

Which tool on Windows I need to modify the Radeon Vega RX 64 BIOS?

Does RBE 1.28 (Radeon BIOS Editor) on Windows work to modify my BIOS on AMD Radeon Vega RX 64?

Is there a HowTo to do that?

Vega has a secure chip that prevents modified bios flashing.

On Ubuntu just use radeon-profile or rocm-smi to control the fan.

I can control the gpu fan in Ubuntu. That's not the problem.

The problem is when I unloaded/blacklist the gpu driver of the AMD Radeon Vega RX 64 card that
the gpu fan runs very loud.

When the gpu driver is activated in Ubuntu, then it's silent.

My idea is to modify the original bios from that card, modify fan profile and flash it back.
