RX 580 Vs RX 590

Ok, this is probably stupid... But has anyone ever tore down the 2 cards to see a difference ?

The reason I am asking is because in theory the 590 is basically a overclocked version of the 580, so therefore in theory the chipset in the 590 should be in an identical postion…. Sooooo in theory you should be able to use a RX580 water block on a 590 ??

Now I have searched for one specifically for the 590 but came up with zero but for the 580 and 470s I can find a lot of water blocks, and before someone posts it, yes I know why would you LC a 590 just go buy this well the reason being I found a 580 water block for sale for 30 bucks here in town that would be why.. 30 compared to 400+

assuming you're looking at full cover blocks then the PCB is what you need to worry about, not the die.

if your Power Color RX 590 uses a reference PCB and the RX 590 reference PCB is the same as a reference RX 580 GPU then yes it'll work.
