Want VSR set to other than native resolution for higher refresh rate possible?

Hi,

Disappointed to find out that my 144 hz monitor and my 5700 Xt card are limited to 60hz due to hdmi limitations on the Benq XL2411 monitor. Only can get 1440x900 @ 120 hz at best and thought it would be great if Virtual Super Resolution would up that to higher res and still keep 120 hz but VSR works against the native 1080p res stuck at 60hz. Anyway to hack it to work at an other non native resolution?

Thanks

Is there a reason you can't use DP? Also, VSR will not get you the resolution that you need back.

Yes. There is no DP ports on my monitor. So if I could get 1440x900 @ 120 hz and have the driver upscale it it would be a good compromise.

My other choice would be a displayport to DVI adapter (either passive or active).

Thanks

Your best bet is to get the adapter.

Yeah it's lame, rem DP 1.4 and you have a DVI-DL on that monitor. If you don't know ^^

Yes, an adapter like this . . .

https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters.../dp/B00EDT01TO

You might get at least 120Hz.
