Well, an odd little tidbit...crossfire isn't looking like its having any impact on my 3dmark performance. Any ideas? I have crossfire enabled, and everything looks as it should be...but I'm getting almost the exact same scores with double as I was with single.

Oh, and the cards are running HOTT. Like HOTT HOTT. And CCC Advanced wont let me change the fan speed, and RivaTuner isn't up to date enough to do it through that. Any ideas on how I could do this? The cards are running @ ~77C idle...

Mine shows only one card, but I have Crossfire enabled. I'm on CCC 8.5

i saw a review of the 4850/70 and the idle/load temps were pretty high like in the 70s idles and 80-90s load. I thought those temps were a lil too much.
I guess "Soon to be EK Block" is 100% necessary.

I'm just a nobody passing by and throwing 2cents.gifeverywhere.

Isn't there a hotfix for the Crossfire issue? And you used both CF connectors right, I read somewhere that you had to use both of them, one of those review thingies.

Your stock single card score is about what I get with my quad and 3870 way overclocked. I know I have read that they really show gains when you open up the CPU speeds.

Yeah, I have both CF bridges attached. And I'm on Cat 8.6 (supports the 4800 series cards). I have crossfire enabled, and all of the bells and whistles hooked up correctly. Going to give it another go.

GPU-Z says I am running in crossfire. Heh, the GPU memory clock made me giggle. 3700 =)

Well, I'm going to let 3dmark run all the way through this time. See if I get different numbers.

Oh lol. Well, I just finished running 3dmark06 with my 4870s in crossfire. I had a 1k increase! Woo!...

http://service.futuremark.com/home.a...8F0981D9FDF0DC

I am betting that either the drivers aren't quite working correctly, rr I'm an idiot and didn't do something I should have. I'm betting on the 2nd.

I'm going to leave it alone for right now though and go get some ingame performance. Screw 3dmark06 anyways! ...yeah!
