apple exclusive if I remember correctly, cause someone else tried it and it didn't work

EDIT: and its a passive adapter, you need an active adapter which requires USB power I believe

I use eyefinity and have tried a few different adapters and the DP to VGA seem to work best ATM. just look on Ebay for a big brand one Eg dell, hp, lenovo, toshiba and acer.
Any of those should work fine.

Some passives will work if you run 1920x1080 screens or less, but I saw a video a while back of him trying apple's, and it BSOD'd his computer, its a horrible product don't buy it.

My buddy uses an dp to vga apple branded adapter and it works great for him cannot comment on the DP to DVi tho
