hey guys, im back after a long time...
so as some of you would know from my last coupla threads, i had bought a new gtx 480 for 200AUD.... now i was on the internet and found out that the hd 6970 is 350 dollars.... one of my friends is ready to buy the gtx 480 fr 400AUD... so i was wondering should i sell the 480 and buy a new hd6970 and use the extra 50 to 70dollars on something else??? (like biger hdd/ram, CM hyper 212+ etc) i know 50 bucks isn't that much, but considering my build was 700 dollars, it can be big money if used wisely...
so what do you guys think??? sell or keep???

And should i buy bigger hdd/ram or buy a hyper 212+ (im using stock, so an aftermarket will help with OCing)
and sorry if this is in the wrong place

I'd say so. 6970 just edges the 480 in performance, but much cooler/quieter. As for what to do with the remainder a 212+ would be a good upgrade, or bigger and faster hdd but that could be hard to do with 50 bucks.

Not Knowledgeable in the Radeon series so I'm afraid I can't help you there, Long time Nvidia Fanboy here I can tell you that the 480 is maybe 5~10% better than a GTX570 bu that's about it... sorry

Hey thanks... I was thinking of gettin a 212+ with case fans... And will a 600w corsair be enough to power a 6970 and an x4 oced to around 3.8 ghz???
