How much had you OC'd the card? It could have degraded... sadsmiley.gif

doh.gif Can't afford the 7900 series? The AMD Radeon 7800 series club! doh.gif

That really depends on the person. I could totally see someone buying their eMachines laptop, then turning around and saying, "With the money I saved, I can sponsor an orgy! After all--a laptop will only last a year or three. Hep-C, now--that lasts forever." - tafkar

It's like my brain needs an aftermarket cooler. - un-midas touch

Samsung S23A700D 120Hz FOR SALE, £225. SHIPS GLOBALLY.

I can be wrong, not problem, but my point is that if 104ºC are the max temp....doesn't mean that you can't try to get lower temps.

Check your CPU temp as well, crashing FPS and driver does not 100% point to GPU. Your RAM could be having hard time keeping up, as well.

my cpu temps hit 45-50 under full load. My ram is OC'd a bit to 1866mhz. Temps on ram, mobo, cpu are fine. I will try downclocking everything back to factory settings to see if OC was a problem. I was once considering water cooling instead of my silver arrow but it's just too expensive for me atm.

Probably not a heat issue then. What about them drivers?
Also, do you have an extra card to test with, or can you test your card in another rig?
