the 5200 is the lowest card nvidia have on the market at the moment ,it struggles with all the newer games and the frame rate even on the lowest setting is intolerable to me m.maybe you should try a 5700 or 6600 if your on a budget , this will inprove things greatly

how longs it been since you formatted that sucker? could help a lot depending how long its been. if you cant afford a new CPU at least clock the one you got to its max and buy a new VC.

The 5200 wont work very good on any new games... the 256 RAM can be helped by buying a GPU with RAM on it, aim for a newer card like a 6600 should work fine for D3 and ect, This Radeon 9000 AIW plays Doom 3 like a dream, but MP lags -_-.. Anyways aim for a 6600.
