Running sli 470s and 80% of the time when I boot up it only starts 1 of the cards. When I restart then it starts both cards. Does anyone have a reason why this could be happening?? THX

I find that after a driver update, when i reboot Sli turns off and it only uses one card.

Is your main reason for rebooting driver updates?

Did i ever find an answer to this problem? No. If you find one let me know. I just always after a restart check to make sure SLi is enabled in the Nvidia control panel.

I reboot for both cards to be on. EVGA precision doesnt show it most of the time till I reboot.

I gave my SLi computer to my roomate, so it's been forever since i had a SLi PC.

But if my memory serves my right, you shouldn't have to reboot to enable SLi. You should be able to use the Nvidia control panel to enable it. Does the Nvidia control detect it as being in SLi when precision says that it is not? I guess what I'm saying is; is this a driver problem or a EVGA precision problem? (it could be a hardware problem, but i doubt that.)

Sli is enabled in the control panel. There must be something wrong with the card because I switched the cards around on the MB and I would get no video until I restarted my machine. Dont understand because it works great after its restarted.
