Received my MSI GeForce GTX 1080 ARMOR 8G OC today and couldn't be happier biggrin.gif It's fully stable at 2113MHz no matter what I throw at it. It even keeps rocking the 2113MHz core clock steady with a custom fan curve. Temperatures are also great (especially compared to the FE). Went from a really poor and hot running 1967MHz FE (not even fully stable or maintaining those clocks) to a cool and quiet 2113MHz with the MSI card. With max fan speed the sound isn't even that bad and keeps the card at a 60degrees Celsius under full load.

Didn't even touch voltage yet, but will wait with that till I mod this baby on with a Corsair H80 + flash the GAMING Z BIOS since this is the same PCB;

Seems like 2200 is no problem with voltage, just a no-no with TDP.

The only way I managed to increase the voltage was through the custom curve thingy, or else. Max 1.0500V.

I don't know why nvidia even added some voltage support when the TDP is an issue, even with stock voltage.

Can't wait for bioses to come out.

I'm going to sweden on sunday, so I won't be tinkering with this POS until next week.

Your stock voltage is a bit higher than mine. Mine only goes up to 1.0500V at 2126mhz.

Getting 110 FPS on Valley. Can somebody else please post their score on Valley, so I can calm my nerves and see if it's my card, or if it's a normal score. Thanks alot!

Love the sig bro! thumb.gif

I've got a 1080 FE and wondering if it's advisable to set the fan off below a certain temp (50c or so)? And what would be the easiest/best way to do that?

Mine also runs 1.0500V during the bench, the 1.0620V is just a spike. Yours seems also like it's a great clocker thumb.gif
Will now flash the GAMING Z BIOS to see if I can push it any further.
